Recent Work: These photos were taken at Bosque del Apache National Wildlife Refuge near Soccoro, New Mexico during the first week in December 2012. This is a unique location that serves as the winter home for thousands of birds. The week that I was there the refuge recorded over 7,000 Sandhill Cranes and over 56,000 Snow Geese plus quite a few photographers from all over the world. These are a tiny fraction of the 6,000 photos I took during the 4 days I was there.
